Married Couple Can Finally Live Together
Once childhood sweethearts, a couple finally tied the knot, fulfilling their dream of being married. Despite their joy, they found themselves in a unique predicament—still living separately in their parents’ homes, each eager to start a new chapter together in their own space. The wife occasionally left home unexpectedly, causing worry for her husband and their families.
Determined to find a solution, they turned to Remote Supports. The attentive Remote Supports staff and assistive devices provided the help they needed, especially when she felt uneasy or restless. Now, thanks to this tailored support, the couple lives more safely together in their marital home. They’re enjoying their new life together, managing her safety with confidence.
Holding Down a Job with Remote Supports
A young man faced a real challenge: he wasn’t taking his medication on weekends, leading to job losses and financial struggles. The issue stemmed from staffing problems; without support, he couldn’t maintain his routine with his psychotropic medications.
To help him, we started weekend check-ins, ensuring he stayed on track with his medication. This small change made a big difference. Now, he’s been working successfully at a company in a restaurant at the mall.
He recently celebrated his two-year work anniversary! We make it a point to visit him once a month at his workplace. It’s always great to catch up, and he often gives us a coupon for a free item. 🎉
